"God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who push the truth away from themselves."
Romans 1:18
Judge Moore will go through the hoops of the idiots, knowing that the Almighty Father is cheering him on.

I don't care what his motive is, he stood up for the Constitution.Curious. You seem to be strong supporter of the Constitution (US?) yet you then state, "time to burn teh whole friggin' courthouse down." I guess the Constitution only applies when it agrees with you, eh?

The only difference is the lines on the two tablets are as blurry as the judiciary's understanding of the Constitution.

I don't much agree with you in this thread, but that's a good one.

You're angry but somebody is gonna yank that one friend.
I'm sorry, we just have to use our strength to keep on pushing and keep our foes on the defensive.
The same enemies are making similar challenges elsewhere right now.
To: wardaddy
I gave you the proof. Yes. You contend that everybody who opposes Moore here harbors some animus against evangelical Protestants, a truly absurd accusation.
You know better than that, wardaddy.

Geez, he didn't stand up for the Constitution, he stood up for his loopy interpretation of the Preamble to the Alabama Constitution,in which the intent and meaning was perverted in his zeal to abrogate powers to himself that no judge in America is allowed.
Get your facts correct.

It is interesting, isn't it, that the "rule of law" is so vigorously and rapidly enforced in this case, while illegal aliens roam the country, collecting government benefits and getting drivers licenses, with little to fear from the same judges.

I think he did that as well....is that to ask for a ruling on the judge's original decision. If so, that takes time and they may refuse to hear it.
Please educate me, if I'm wrong. I took the LSAT 23 years ago but I'm no lawyer.
To: Dog Gone
Obviously, violence is not called for. Some very large peaceful demonstrations would be helpful, though.

This issue is so much more than just a symbolic "rock" in a courthouse. It is based on a principle and on heartfelt rebellion against multiple decades of a force-fed diet espousing anti-religion, anti-morals and anti-nation.
Yes, symbols are vitally important and sometimes they are needed as a rallying call. Whether or not the Commandments stay or are removed, Judge Roy Moore has generated national focus on a definitive moment in our nation's history.
The populace at large is simply sick and tired of having its precious heritage trampled in the dirt. You can stomp truth into the ground 40 feet deep -- but it is still truth.
To: lugsoul
That is the difference that Judge Moore has shown. He has said that he is willing to lose his job and even go to jail. We will see the mark of the man in the next few days.
Will he say, "I was just following orders" or will he run away and hide, or will he stand to be arrested?

You need to read them and encourage your reps to support.
To: varina davis; wardaddy
Would you expect either one of them to even comment? Granted I know they couldn't officially do anything, Tenth Amendment issue runs both ways, but at least they could say something publically to began a ground swell of support for the good judge
