"With all the evidence ... it's highly likely it's an arson fire,"

Noooooo!!! Ya think! (Maybe the spray painted slogans are an indication it wasn't just a spontaneous fire.)

Best reason to buy an SUV- because you want one. Freedom and all that.

I swapped out my 4-cylinder Mitsubishi Eclipse for my half-ton Dodge Ram pickup--318 cid V8, Club Cab, short bed--in 1995. I had no practical need whatsoever for a pickup truck at that time. I just wanted a big, roomy vehicle because I was sick of squeezing my fat ass into a sports car every day, and I wanted something large and safe to protect against all the moronic drivers on the road out there.

Since then, I have moved twice; moved the woman who is now my wife four times; moved friends once; and helped my wife start her own business by hauling her jewelry booth to craft shows in five states. None of which would be possible without that big, battered, beautiful Ram that sits outside this office, waiting to suck down a gallon of gas getting me home.

My next vehicle will be a larger truck or full-size (as in Suburban/Expedition) SUV. We have plans to buy a trailer or fifth-wheel RV and will need a larger vehicle to tow it, an F-250 or similar. My dream ride would probably be a Crew Cab F-250 or Ram 2500 with the biggest honkin' engine I can squeeze in it, maybe a nice diesel if I can afford it. $35k to $40k, but hey, boys have to have toys too.

Besides, knowing that if I'm tooling down the road in a 3/4-ton pickup, getting 12 miles per gallon, it pisses people like you off...well, that makes it just that much more worthwhile.

We are a two 4WD household. Heck, if it weren't for enviroweenies, we'd have probably gotten a small car instead of one of them. But they're such jerks, we decided to tell them to stuff it, and bought two really bigs ones. Besides, they go into the woods and creeks and run over squirrels. A car can't.

It seems that these pricks who did this damaged the environment by using ozone-damaging aerosols in the spray paint. They further worsened it by setting fire to the building thereby releasing an unknown amount of soot, ash, and other deadly products into the atmosphere. These hypocrits need to be jailed and made to make restitution to the dealership. Extend the war on terrorism to these criminals and others like them. They make me sick. Their statements are no different than those made by the PLO, Black September, PLF, etc..

On the lighter side, you could probably get a great deal from the fire sale that will come from this.

Lets make a deal with them. For every fire they set, we cut down trees with their people perched atop them. Ironic that they burn down an apartment complex and then they have to rebuild it using MORE lumber then it took the first time!

Is it silly to wonder from what exactly these people want to liberate Earth? From the existence of mankind?

The could at least off themselves first.

Absolutely! We had to get another vehicle this past weekend. I was considering either a Chevy Tracker or a Cavalier, but my husband talked me into trying the Trailblazer. It's parked in the driveway now and I'm REALLY looking forward to winter in the Carolina Mountains.

Speaking of telling jerks to stuff it, I wonder if I could get one of those auto decal companies to place a copy of the Ten Commandments on the side of my Chevy. Might as well irritate as many folks as possible. ;)
