Mrs. Schiavo can't now can she. She is dependant on others. She can not talk or express her wishes. I strongly believe she has no idea she is in this condition. I also believe if she knew she would ask to die. I don't care about the parents or the husband or what becomes of the money. I care about Terri. Can you in good conscious say that to stop this is helping Terri? Just wondering.

I don't know the woman, she could have been the biggest B**ch in the world before this. So granting her eternal life with our lord is somewhat presumptious, don't you agree? My position is she is not brain dead, she IS aware of her surroundings as evidencedby intereaction with any stimuli including pain. She does not have the mental capacity to make this descision such as Kevorkian's patients. What gives the right to another, to make it for her? If she were to pass away naturally then I would say DNR is a proper direction. That's not the case here. she is mentally challenged not brain dead. Buy your previous posts, one can sumise then that you are in favor of killing the mentally challenged?

All I can say is that having an independent doctor examine her (preferably more than one) would be a precursor before anything else. I think to deo anything before that is not in terri's best interest.

Because she can't comunicate her own wishes she should be "murdered"? She is very much alive. Have you not seen that she is responsive to others? That she TRIES to communicate with her family? That she recognizes someone she knows?

If you "care" about Terri then you would demand that she receive the therapy that she needs that MAY improve her situation.
