On the part where the Cato Institute also savaged him (ballooning deficits), I do.
And don't blame those on the war- the war didn't cost $455 billion this year alone.
Those are Bush's fault.
I also don't like Bush for his praise of affirmative action, unwillingness to address illegal immigration, unwillingness to actually fight for his policies or nominees, his support for the assault weapons ban, and his enduring love of wasting taxpayer money by giving it to Africa or socializing medicine (prescription drugs, anyone?) and so forth.
Bush has done a whole slew of things that right-leaning people should be furious at him for.

A lot of people who, like me, support President Bush are unhappy over the African AIDS boondoggle, the neglect of addressing offshoring to third world hellholes, and such. Pointing out areas for improvement, in our opinion, doesn't make us liberals.
President Bush has done a wonderful job fighting terror and has had some very good tax cuts made, but we are asking for more. Why does that upset you?
