I posed the following in another discussion group, in re yours on Sierra Club:
If one posits that refineries only build their 'stacks' near black communities; and those black communities have higher incidences of asthma -- is this then evidence of lawsuit to the refinery? Or are blacks more inclined to asthma when they live around refineries? As we both know, income is the issue here. It is not a race issue. But can be readily made to appear as a "medical"-DNA issue. Or grown into one.
