Arnie is a rock solid elitist. He is going to be their for one reason. To protect the interest of transnational corporations, while keeping the little people distracted with his movie star prowess. First question for Arnold: Who do you believe Jesus Christ was and is?
Go Tom go!

Schwarzenegger pledged Wednesday to protect education from any budget cuts. Thats where he lost me.
In April 1999 I was on the hook yearly for ~$80,000 in state/federal income taxes. In 2000, 2001, and 2002 I paid $0. I probably have 25 more good years in me, but I refuse to contribute anymore. No income, no income tax. Im out. Heading out of CA too.
Fully half of my state taxes (and a portion of my federal taxes) went to education. For the amount Im paying I expect the children to be able to read in several languages. I expect them to write in several languages. I expect them to do math calculations like my HP-48. I expect them to destroy Japanese students in contests that are conducted *in Japanese*.
I expect them to eat a bag of chips and poop gold nuggets thats what I was paying for. Actually, the children were being fed gold nuggets and are pooping the regular poop
not even that. No dice. No Arnold. No more money. Im done.
Somehow, I think I'll squeak by. I don't know that "the children" will.

Arnold Schwarzenegger has stated clearly his intention to cut taxes to make California's job climate a competitive one. I haven't heard Arnold say he'll cut taxes. Have any of you?

Arnold: No new taxes.
Davis: No Newt attacks us.
Carey: No Nude taxes.
Flynt: Lewd and tactless.
Bustamonte: Taxes no news.
Huffington: No new Texas.
Coleman: ???
This is a "work" in progress.

"Arnold Schwarzenegger is an absolute, rock-solid fiscal conservative,"
I feel like I want to break the jaw of the next person to say this. It's just not so.

"Arnold Schwarzenegger has stated clearly his intention to cut taxes to make California's job climate a competitive one. Regrettably, in comments I made to Fox today, I left the impression that Arnold Schwarzenegger could consider increasing taxes based on economic conditions. I misspoke," said spokesman Sean Walsh. This is what happens when you surround yourself with Dems and liberal Republicans who are itching to get their hands on the state purse strings. Walsh can't WAIT to start apologizing for the tax increases.
