I wonder, if after his experience with Microsoft, if he now calls it the fascist OS?
Can all of you grab all the licenses for the software on your computer? I know I'd have to do a lot of digging.

I wonder, if after his experience with Microsoft, if he now calls it the fascist OS?According to the article, he doesn't hate Microsoft and he isn't bitter--he's just resolute.

Keep a copy of all e-receipts for shareware with the .sit or .zip installation program and burn a cd with all your shareware for reinstallation. Boxed programs can also be archived this way if you make a copy of the code in a word processin program. I use no microsoft programs whatsoever. Explorer was installed when my mac was loaded with its OS but I don't use it at all and keep it just in case it is absolutely requird for something.
