Play Free Fantasy Football with Other FReepers!!

Take the field with other FReepers & Yahoo! Sports Fantasy Football, a free game that gives you the chance to coach your own team of professional football players from opening weekend right through the late season playoff stretch. Your goal is to get the best lineup on the field every week, since the better your players perform in real-life games, the more value they bring to your fantasy team.

2003 marks the fourth season of FReeper Fantasy Football. Each week your team will square off in a matchup against another team to see whose players can score the most points each weekend.

Right now, all online draft times are full. The FReeper League is tentatively set to be an autopick draft.

However, if a live draft time becomes available, we will again feature a live online draft, where each owner selects a squad in real time with other owners. Every owner selects one player per round until their roster is full. The draft order reverses each round, so the manager that starts the first round will end the second, and the manager that ends the first round will start the second.

You'll need a Java-enabled browser in order to participate in a live draft. Yahoo recommends Netscape or Internet Explorer version 3.0 or higher.

If the league remains autopick of if you cannot be present for a live draft, go to your team page and pre-rank players. Your pre-ranked players will be used for the autodraft or if you can't make a selection at any time during a live draft. If you choose not to pre-rank, Yahoo's default ratings will be used when you can't make a selection.

If the league is switched to a live draft, please arrive 10 minutes ahead of the scheduled time as the draft will start promptly and may go rapidly if only a few managers are logged in.

For more information, consult the Yahoo Fantasy Football Rules.

All you need to play is a Yahoo! ID, so get yours now and get ready to strap it on. To play go to the Yahoo Fantasy Games Page at:

Sorry to make you request the password via email, but we had some DU disruptors that tried to crash our FReeper baseball league this year.

Why not do a 'self draft' and conduct it on a thread? We could probably pull it off over two days.

Why not do a 'self draft' and conduct it on a thread?

I'd rather not take up that much of my time to do the data entry after a self draft.

It sounds like more fun, but more work, too!

Tell you what - I'll play in your league if you want to set one up like that.

Just throwing out ideas for if an online draft time does not open up. If the data entry is the issue, I'll be glad to do it. You could still be the commish- I'd just do the roster setup.
