Almost every JFK conspiracy theory is built upon one single critical foundation: Lee Harvey Oswald didn't shoot President Kennedy.
Some people just won't believe that a US Marine qualified as a Marksman could possibly make two hits in several seconds on a human target from less than 100 paces. The Mannlicher-Carcano is actually a decent shooting rifle, and Oswald was basically a competent rifleman.
I've never seen convincing evidence that leads me to believe that Oswald was incapable of making those shots. It's the only thing about the Kennedy Assassination that I'm sure about.

I didn't Oswald qualified as Marksman.
In fact I read before he was a terrible shot
and basicly got booted out of the Marines.
And his fellow soldiers laughed at what an incredibly
bad shot he was. He was said to be by far the worst
shot in his Company.

I agree 100%. I also concluded that LBJ was the force behind the shooting. They are not mutually exclusive, you know.
And as to other comments that, as freepers, we should not allow conspiracy theories to sway our 'thinking', I submit that there was sooo much to support the theory at the time, people could easily have drawn that conclusion. BUT, few believed that a man (Johnson) could stoop to such misadventures.
Different time, different thinking/mindset!

Funny, I've never seen convincing evidence that leads me to believe that Oswald was capable of making those shots.
The 'magic bullet' did not exist, except in the minds of the Warren commission.
It's the ~only~ thing about the Kennedy Assassination that I'm sure about.

A friend of mine was a medal winning Marine markman.
He got a Carcano, found a hillside, set up stationary targets and tried to duplicate the Kennedy shots.
He could not, and no one will ever convince him that Oswald acted alone.
In addidtion, when Kennedy was shot there were several trees along the route, which the FBI had cut down "in order to provide a clearer picture of the crime scene"!

My husband is an excellent rifle shooter. He has been to the Book Depository & stood at the window that Oswald shot from. He said Oswald passed up an easy shot & took a difficult one. He doesn't believe, after seeing the place, that Oswald hit him.

I have no problem believing that Oswald was the one, and only, shooter. However, Jack Ruby and his background is very suggestive that Oswald was acting for somebody or group, not as a lone nutcase.

There is this thing called inertia. Look at the Zapruder film. The head goes back, not forward, and the exit wound leaves a good portion of the president's noggin on the trunk of the car. Accelleration of the car notwithstanding, the evidence clearly shows the shot that hit Kennedy came from in front of the car. Oswald may have hit Connaly, but it doesn't look like he hit Kennedy.

The M-C in its best day (1940) was junk and would be the last rifle an assassin would use. He could throw it at the victim with more deadly effect than shooting it at one.
Query -where were the other bullets or did Ozzie only have three? Where were they purchased?

You have got to be kidding. Real experts couldn't duplicate those shots under the same circumstances. Moreover, how do you account for the fatal head shot, which clearly was a frontal shot? Moreover, there were too many witnesses who placed shots coming from the picket fence atop the grassy knoll. The ballistics clearly support more than one shooter. And as for Oswald's skill as a shooter, he only rated "Marksman," which is the lowest rating in the military. And the 6.5 mm Manlicher Carcano was a junk gun, in any event.
