[history]
Human body lice appear to owe their origin to the invention of clothing, and the types that reside on our bodies appear to have hitchhiked along as modern humans migrated out of Africa about 100,000 years ago.
Mark Stoneking and colleagues at the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology in Leipzig, Germany, made the connection between the origin of clothing and the rise of human body lice by checking so-called molecular clocks found in the cells of all living creatures.

The mod removed the post, it was obvious that they saw it exactly as we did, or the mod would have told RWP to chill out, which he did not.
So, if it was not a threat, then good enough, but it looked like one, and was taken seriously by the mod's.
ANyway, tell your husband that I thank him for his service, and my insult was in poor taste.
I respect the Black berets, and having been around them and some green berets as well, I know how hardcore and patriotic they can be.
I would never compare myself to one.
My Major asked me to take the test for Black Berets, but I could never bring myself to jump out of a perfectly good airplane. That pretty much did it for me.
I like the ground, give me a good APC and a troop of M1's to work on, and I am a happy camper.

Well, prof. Best thing to turn a good protestant gal into a nun is to meet one of you.

To everyone who has signed onto the agreement of the willing for science threads: This is the first flame-ette since the agreement went into effect. Many of the people who are expressing ill will are not among the willing and thus compliance to achieve peaceful discourse, though mentioned and requested, has been rejected out-of-hand.
The cure we devised in the agreement for such a situation is to consider such a reaction an intent to disrupt and thereafter, to ignore the poster.
To: Admin Moderator
why was 297 removed?
What did I do? I would appreciate an explanation so that I will not make the same mistake again.
I discussed, Spellchecker, fishing, fishing rods, smoking a cigar, and a really big fish.
Why was it removed?
Thanks

Where ya been for the past 3000 posts AG? I've been called every name in the book, but I never saw you once bring out the agreement except to try to get me to sign on. As I said before, very confusing behavior.

To: DittoJed2
If I were a fish and Aric were spelling out some of the inuendos that were in that post, I'd ask to have it removed too!

To: DittoJed2
Aric, what she wrote the prof was not a "threat". I thought so.

I have been an agnostic for some time. Thank goodness, who knows what I would be if I weren't already. ;)

I am sorry if the prof misunderstood anything I said. I never would try to make anyone feel that uncomfortable.

Well, I felt that your reaction was an over reaction. Did she say he was going to hit you? Stomp on you? Use any form of weapondry on you? No, she described his size and military status and said that you should speak to him.
But, if the Admin Mod considered it a threat, it is now gone.

Lice has so many facets. I once wondered why God made cockroaches. I guess he knows better than we do what His reason are. I hate those bugs. Under a microscope some of those little critters look so frightening.
