[history]
Many studies have examined the "gateway" theory, that marijuana use at a young age leads to use of harder drugs as a person grows older. While there is a general consensus among studies that those who use marijuana are much more likely to use hard drugs and that hard drug users usually use marijuana first, there is lively debate surrounding the reasons for these dynamics.

They already do: "teens find marijuana easier to buy than cigarettes and alcohol." - National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse (CASA) at Columbia University, CASA 2002 Teen Survey Survey of High School male students shows that 85 percent have been over 150 mph in a car.

When a control group is hooked up to a lie detector, that group registers significantly different numbers for questions related to drugs and sex.

Do you not realize what happened in NY when cigarette taxes were increased? It created a black market for cigarettes that exactly mimicked what happened during Prohibition. You can make all the laws you want, but you cannot stop supply and demand. Funny: I live in NY. The next "bootlegger" I run into will be my first. The smokers I know suck it up and pay the tax.

Whether they make less money [...] is irrelevant. What utter nonsense---how much money they make is THE factor in determining whether they do it.
The only utter nonsense is the belief that less kids will use pot
No substantive arguments to make, I see.

They don't, like you seem to say, buy from a dealer for $40 and then sell it to someone for $45 or $50. That is not what he said nor what it seemed like he said. It seems like you have a passion for twisting someones post in your post to make it look like he has said something he did not.

Studies show that when DEA agents are hooked up to a lie detector, they admit that they don't want the WOsD to end, because then they would be out of a job.

It is illegal for kids to obtain either drugs or alcohol. For those who wish to sell mind-altering substances, marijuana is clearly the preferrable choice, because it is significantly less bulky per dose.

I was simply trying to understand his definition of markup and how he thought dealers made money.

Kids have easier access to it now than they will when it is legal. Dealers will become few and far between. The black market will dry up, and it will become regulated and taxed like alcohol. Why can't you understand that? You don't understand. The goal is total drug legalization. No regulations on drugs or liquor. The local pizza joint will be selling crack. No more prescriptions. People will be able to buy any drug at any time without restriction.

If that's why teens find marijuana easier to buy than cigarettes and alcohol, then apparently their suppliers have no problem getting marijuana---so the War On Marijuana is a failure.

Thanks to your paragraph, I now understand the extent of your paranoia.

I gather the following from your inability to confront any of my questions.
You care for nothing but your self proclaimed dominance.
You support an ungodly and unconstitutional war upon citizens.
You insist on your interpretation of the Bible to support this war.
You advocate stealing from individuals possessing a gift from God. (stealing is a sin)
You advocate imprisoning and taking children from the same with disregard for God's first commandment 'to go forth and multiply"
You care not about the affects of the drug war on individuals lives and the liberty of all.
You once again unapologetically bear false witness to that which you know nothing. A character trait of a true satanist.
Romans 9:32 Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumbling stone;
Matthew 5:7
Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
Matthew 5:10
Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Legalizing drugs will mean more teens use drugs. What studies do you have to back this up? Surely a comparable study on alcohol in the 20's and 30's would suffice, since the situation is identical to what you prefer.
