Isn't this the same kind of socialized medicine Hitlery tried to force down our throats 10 yrs ago? I wonder if she's given up THAT tired mantra.

The people pushing socialism are either stupid (the majority) or planning on being among the elite (the leaders). The socialist leaders keep their stupdi sheep following by always promising everything for "free". The sheep are too stupid to see the reaction to the socialists actions.

This article is a keeper. I'm going to bookmark it for future reference, every time the Democrats start talking about federal health care programs.

While it might be obvious to Freepers that socialized medicine is a bad idea, what about socializing the practice of Law? Lawyers are officers of the court and why should they profit from performing their duty as officers of the court?
After law has been successfully socialized, then come and talk to me about socializing medicine....

Along with pushme-pullyu socialism we should include me-me conservatism which wants a free lunch wherever possible and pass the bill onto the next person. Their self interest takes precedence over pride in independence and principle.
We have so many so-called conservatives that are willing to accept socialism slowly as long as it doesn't infringe on their own self-gratification. The RINOS and NEO-CONS are good examples of this phenomenon as they love big intrusive government as well as the socialists. Absolute power is the name of the game, the discrepancy with the socialist arises in the means to achieve it.
