What do you define as a "revival"?

Revival should take place in us all daily. A renewing of our hearts and minds. A quickening of our spirits. Maybe we don't understand true revival at all. It is so much more than holding a group of sermons for a week in the summer.

Reveval is first, Believers getting right with God again, acting like Believers again, dressing like believers again, quitting the sins they have backslid into

THEN come evangelism, new believers coming to Christ in faith

Without the Church cleaning up their act, we will see no growth of new believers that actually stay.

I have been to many 'revival' meetings, and within 2 weeks it was back to normal. All the people who came forward never showed up again. The people in the assembly fooled themselves that they changed to what is right.

I am so grateful for where I attend, the call there is for people to worship God rightly every day, and to know Christ. What I saw in the Baptist churches embarrassed me.

I have no idea what your church is like, I only know what Baptist churches are like in CT, and it is a serious decline in Holiness, thatis for sure, and these churches still had good music.

The Charismatic ones are way out in left field, all the phoney gold dust revivals, the laughing revival, the casual dress in shorts, t-shirts, dressed to go to a party instead of church.

If people have something to do afterward, then go home and change afterward, why is that so hard to realize?
