Reveval is first, Believers getting right with God again, acting like Believers again, dressing like believers again, quitting the sins they have backslid into
THEN come evangelism, new believers coming to Christ in faith
Without the Church cleaning up their act, we will see no growth of new believers that actually stay.
I have been to many 'revival' meetings, and within 2 weeks it was back to normal. All the people who came forward never showed up again. The people in the assembly fooled themselves that they changed to what is right.
I am so grateful for where I attend, the call there is for people to worship God rightly every day, and to know Christ. What I saw in the Baptist churches embarrassed me.
I have no idea what your church is like, I only know what Baptist churches are like in CT, and it is a serious decline in Holiness, thatis for sure, and these churches still had good music.
The Charismatic ones are way out in left field, all the phoney gold dust revivals, the laughing revival, the casual dress in shorts, t-shirts, dressed to go to a party instead of church.
If people have something to do afterward, then go home and change afterward, why is that so hard to realize?

"...dressing like believers again..."
Men in suits and ties have perpetuated horrific crimes on humanity. It is not the biker who orders his troops to commit genocide. It is a snappy dressed dictator.
Is dressing like a wallstreet banker who cheats on his taxes, beats his wife, drinks himself to death dressing like a believer?

I have attended church, bible study and prayer in fine dresses, slacks, jeans, sweats and on a couple of occasions when we had a malfunctioning AC, in shorts. Each time I have gone, regardless of what I was wearing, I have been fed and received the meat of the word. My clothing did not hinder me nor did it hinder anyone else there as they were there in like apparel.
I am not one who gets hung up on traditions. Our church actually split because of tradition. Those that left with the ones wanting their traditions are now back "in the world". Their traditions did not sustain them. We have had tremendous and continuing growth in our body since these people left. The traditions that they desired to hold on to "limited" God's movement within our body. The traditions robbed us of our liberty.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh . . .
REALLY?
HAVE YOU EVER been standing next to someone in a blessed service and EXPERIENCED them having a tooth filled instantly? Seen gold dust appear? Observed the clearly demonstrated anointing and heavy PRESENCE OF GOD'S HOLY SPIRIT on people and in a space? Heard angels sing?
I have experienced such though not all the above.
Throw rocks at WHAT GOD DOES if you wish. But I wouldn't recommend it.
HINT--GOD HAS BEEN UPSETTING PEOPLE'S RELIGIOUS SENSIBILITIES ever sense Cain felt justified proudly bringing fruit vs what God asked for.
Perhaps you'd do well to look up the Scripture about pure religion undefiled etc. in the Old Testament.
God is very much NOT into RELIGIOUS sensibilities. He IS into intimate RELATIONSHIP.
He's very much into SUBSTANCE over FORM.
If you don't know this, I'm suspicious about the level of your own intimacy with God.
