"250 people, eh? See how many came back this coming Sunday. Now, How many people attend your church? What was the attendance last year? What was in 6 months ago? What was it last month? What was it last Sunday? How many have come forward in the last year and claimed they got saved? Now, is your church bursting at the seams? I didn't think so."

I suspect that your comments above concerning the number of people who are saved and the numbers who return to your church after having joined or expressed interest in joning are due to your experience in your own church.

I offer this next comment as a practical question concerning the day to day running of your church:

Is the problem that your church is boring?

My minister's attitude, which he has publicly stated, is:

"If you don't have fun at church, don't go!"

If Jesus is so popular at your church, I would wonder if it is the Jesus of the Bible at all.
