As Anderson's sees it, Schiavo is trying to make Terri's environment as "barren as possible, and as free from stimulation." Bingo.

This is insane. Something needs to be done. Where in the h*** is Jeb Bush???>>>>
Who, JEB the Catholic K of C member? Maybe he takes orders from his father, he was always big with population control, read on:
Title X - Quotable Quotes
Read My Lips!
We need to make population and family planning household words. We need to take the sensationalism out of this topic so that it can no longer be usedby militants who have no real knowledge of the voluntary nature of the program but, rather, are using it as a political stepping stone. If family planning is anything, it is a public health matter.
Rep. George Bush, 1969
Most important is that legislation be recognized as ... a health-care service mechanism and not a population control mechanism.
Rep. George Bush, 1970
As we amended the Social Security Act in 1967, I was impressed by the sensible approach of Alan Guttmacher, the obstetrician who served as president of Planned Parenthood. It was ridiculous, he told the committee, to blame mothers on welfare for having too many children when the clinics and hospitals they used were absolutely prohibited from saying a word about birth control. So we took the lead in Congress in providing money and urging -- in fact requiring -- that in the United States family planning services be available for every woman, not just the private patient with her own gynecologist.

In the JEB state of FL, a turtle egg is more revered and protected than a human being created in God's image. Florida Law Chapter 370
Mess with a turtle egg and get a yr. in jail and a $50K fine, abort a child, get paid $750.00, I think JEB Bush and the US congress should address this issue. And we wonder why there is NO respect for HUMAN life created in God's image. OK, every in the pool and flap your fins and keep your offspring buried in the sand; we're turtles now.

Well, surely Terry has brothers and friends and other relatives who would be willing to help. All it would take is a few dedicated people to go in a grab her and hustle her out.
If you were security would you stop a group of people who where trying to save a woman's life so that someone could kill her? I doubt that the police or security guards are as heartless as the doctors who would starve Terry to death.

This is a husband???? He uses his "rights" to deny her treatment and to deny her spiritual comfort? Did you also know he is living at the old residence with his girlfriend?
As an aside, Were you also sympathetic to Elian's father's "rights" that Castro made him invoke?
If so, know you've been programmed into scanning for keywords or phrases and not checking to see how they're applied.
Please look beyond and THINK (otherwise you're just letting others do it for you).

Please continue to pray for Terri today. Please ping your prayer lists.
Thank you all.
Who knows, but the Blessed Sacrament is what has been keeping Terri alive and resposive?
Many saints were known to survive for months on the Eucharist alone, like Blessed Therese Neumann.
Let's all pray that Father Malanoski will be allowed to see Terri.
What about freedom of religion? Where's the Catholic League on this? That guy Donohue who likes to shoot off his mouth all over the TV?

I've written to Jeb. His position is that the courts know best. The COURTS??!! Oh my God. "The courts" now dictate who among us is allowed to live?
I thought Jeb was Catholic but I wasn't positive.
To: Palladin
It's hard to believe this is our country. So sad. And Jeb is just another politician--like his brother.

Boy her husband is one paranoid SOB. Maybe he's got a good reason to be paranoid --- maybe he did something to get her in this state of coma? Insurance money and lover on the side.

He is not related to Terri and I support the right of the husband to control access to his wife when she is unable to speak for herself. The family is related to Terri but the husband is no blood relative and he's an adulterous husband with his eyes on the insurance money. All he should do is divorce the wife he has been cheating on --- let her parents who brought her into the world and who still love her just take her back. Let him have his freedom and leave her be.

I doubt that the police or security guards are as heartless as the doctors who would starve Terry to death. We have police and security guards attacking people peacefully protesting abortion. That suggests they're no more likely than average to care about a helpless person's life.
We have doctors and nurses who will let handicapped babies starve to death, so it's no surprise that people will watch a disabled adult die of starvation and thirst, just because someone told them to.
And Governor Bush obviously believes the voters wouldn't expect HIM to do anything, and the Church has been conspicuously low-key ... If the LORD sends the punishment for all of this, we all deserve it.
To: johnb838
In other words, Jeb Bush is a weak-kneed wimp, huh? No mind of his own.
Terri's bone scan on March 7, 1991 reveals previous trauma in addition to her then current injuries.
"The presumption is that the other multiple areas of abnormal activity also relate to previous trauma. Additional possibility would be neoplastic bone disease, widespread disseninated (sp?) infectious bone disease or multiple bone infarcts from abnormal hemoglobin."
I'm not qualified to even guesstimate her diagnosis. But, if she was beaten, and had been beaten before, did the doctors notify the police? If not, why not? Was it because she has some kind of brittle bone disease? It does happen....had Terri ever been anorexic?
If the doctors failed to do their duty, did Terri's parents contact LE?

(It's our sovereignty, stupid!)
To: chiefqc
It started with the law (?) allowing the murder of unborn innocent babies for money, now it progresses to the murder of those who can't speak for themselves, is there a money angle here also, maybe the next step will be the murder of those who are not quite normal, who don't look quite correct, who do not have blond hair and blue eyes the list is endless and the slope is slippery. It has me worried, chief. Have you ever been to a nursing home where many elderly cannot speak for themselves? How long before we start giving them the "needle"?
We all need to recognize that our courts have now abandoned Christianity and the Ten Commandments. The irony is that it has become worse since we were attacked by crazy, religious zealots. Does this mean they won?
To: johnb838; Ciexyz
Then we all must pray that she can, and credit our Heavenly Father for the miracle.
