I just delivered my to the Citadel in Charleston SC this weekend, and as a Knob , during dining (MESS).....he's challenged by the upperclassmen to provide totally useless but interesting facts.
They seem to like military, world, and American history, especially military quotes.
I told him that I had a great source.... FREEPERS !.
So try and help a kid out.

Thanks Robe

Check here. Chapters 3, 4, and 5 ought to give your Knob some ammo. It's a large Adobe Acrobat file that you can peruse online. Feel free to use other chapters within this publication as reading material if you're having problems getting to sleep.

Get the book "The Art of War" by Sun Tzu

Written in 500 B.C.

Great quotes and great book to take into battle.

What is Building #1 on any army base?

The flagpole in front of headquarters.

(Headquarters is universally Building #2)

What is a truck?

The ball on top of the flag pole.

What's in it?

A book of matches and a bullett.

Why?

To burn the flag to prevent capture - and to defend it.

As an old cavalryman I've always been attached to the one in my tagline.
