Thanks Mike! This mockery is particularly offensive to Catholics. The image of the Sacred Heart of Jesus has been a source of sincere piety among church going Catholics for the past three centuries. GQ has lept onto the PC bandwagon of insulting Christians and particulary Catholic Christians. It seems to be a rite of passage among the so-called hipsters of the left kingdom.

That pic was widely posted here---it was taken during a press conference, I think over a year ago. Certainly it was not a conscious effort by GWB to appear Christ-like.

Offended by the GQ picture is the appropriate reaction IMO.
