Howard Dean Caught for a second time sending out unsolicited junk email. Says he did not know. Two stories on this, one a Traditional News Format.
And the other More of a techy Ed.
TOPICS: Extended News; News/Current Events; Politics/Elections

He will do it again if he can get away with it - and so will other candidates if he gets away it. Not nearly enough wrath coming down on Dean over this.

Now we need someone to follow Dean around dressed up like a can of SPAM. Just like the Dems did with one Republican presidentail candidate, I cant remember. The guy following around the Republican was dressed up like a cigarette. Does anyone remember that?

That was "Buttman" and the person in the costume was none other than Craig Livingstone of "who hired me?" fame.

Not nearly enough wrath coming down on Dean over this. I'd wait untill its the general election, then hammer for a "do not e-mail spam directory" with no political exemption, and run commercials showing Dean addmitting to having used Spam in the primaries.
Even better, a second commercial, run at the end of the campaign, quoting or showing footage of Dean saying how he wants to cut social security benefits, raise the age of eligebility to 69 or 70, and raise payroll taxes. He talked about it, on camera when he was governor, and did it again, only a few months ago when talking to Russert, and has even said it in interviews with magazines and newspapers. The only time he backed away from it, was at the AFL-CIO, but he still said it on camera, and that type of commerical alone could give Bush a landslide. Unions may hate Bush, but they hate the idea of higher payroll taxes, and a higher age for social security more, as for senior citizens, you'll need a baseball bat to keep them from voting Bush at that point.

And ... who did Dean get advice from: Hillary Clinton
Hmmmm?? Since Hillary is advising his campaign, you can expect more "I don't know" from Dean, as well as doing more and more illegal things - to get elected.
Is Hillary grooming him to be her V.P., or is she helping him with the payoff of being chosen Dean's V.P. ..?? Interesting ..??

Yup. And when he was governor of VT, he signed a bill allowing same-sex marriages. The guy's a nutcase. That'll only help Bush when it comes to firing up his base, moderates, while they do support a gay marriage ban, aren't really motivated by it, and don't seem to hold it as a make or break issue for them. Dean talking about repealing all of Bush's tax cuts, regardless of who they effect or are for (Dean seems to think that anyone who is rich pays taxes) always drives people nuts.
Rule of Karl Rove-"If you promise tax cuts, you'll always get at least 30% minimum to support you, if you promise tax hikes, you'll get 80% easily to oppose you".
Even John Edwards was trying to sway Dean by talking about "repealing only the tax cuts for the rich, and giving more tax cuts to the middle class". Lieberman, has hinted at repealing the "tax cuts for the absolute rich" and has stated he will not repeal them across the board.
Dean himself has stated (either in the NY Times, or a previous, not the recent Time Mag) that he believes that people would rather give up all the tax cuts, if not have there taxes raised, if it gave them "health insurance or universal health care".
Side Note, Joe Lieberman was pointing out something awhile back about how Dean "socialized health care" is not really paid for by vermonters, but by the federal government thorough medacare or medicaid, Can anyone out there elaborate on what he meant by that?

Great. If becomes the candidate, he'll be easy to beat. Everyone hates spam. Just tell everyone that Dean not only supports spammers, but is one himself, and he'll go down in flames next year.

I really like the idea of sending him email. Wonder if enough of a campaign could get started to let him see what it is like.
Should I forward the 100 or so junk emails sitting in my box right now?

Here is what I wrote to him...
-----------------
If you are stupid enough to belive email marketers that tell you your emailings will only go to people that opted in, you are too dumb to be president.
Frankly, I don't think you are that stupid. Therefore, you are that dishonest.
STOP SENDING SPAM!!! YOU ARE CLOGGING UP THE NET AND MY INBOX!!!
