I gather from this "this is a message FOR Pastor Paul" that it was a beating AGAINST the church's stance against homosexuality. Why does the janitor have to be a homosexual? Couldn't pro-homosexual goons have done the attack and just attacked the first man they found on site?

There was another thread where a Texas Episcopalian church was set fire (with lighter fluid) and reportedly some prohomsexual graffitti was found (something along the lines of "Jesus loves homosexuals").

The sad truth is that they recognize that Jesus does indeed love 'homosexuals' but fail to recognize that he will mourn over them as they are cast into hell for refusing to repent and be changed.

Love doesn't equal a "get out of hell free card". He already died for them, the rest is up to them.
