I have said similiar things about the total lack of any credibility of most NY Slimes stories; however, I have minimal artistic ability. My 4 year old grand daughter is starting to realize that while I still have my 2 year old grandson amazed with my stick figures. I still have more than my wife and her father.

I just posted this reply with your great catch of the latest lie of the Slimes on the other thread. Great Job!
Great catch. You should send that to the editor of the NY Post, so they can get a big spot light on the Slimes's latest lie or manipulation of the truth.

Outstanding column, outstanding writing.
Thanks for the ping.

It is hard to believe nowadays that the Old Gray Whore was once considered, "the paper of record". It has become completely unreliable trash, worse than any collegian daily.

And thus the familiar: The Gay Lady!

Does anybody know what Gregg Whiteside said to be fired from WQXR by the NYT? Considering that we're talking about the NY Slimes, and that Whiteside's job involves classical music, I suspect he was slurring somebody for being gay. But I wonder if the person he was slurring may not have been Pinch. Would certainly explain the firing, without severance pay, no less.

Go to GoogleNews and search on "John Armor." The article, "Death by Typewriter," will pop up as one of three. Do you know how to create a link? I'm not skilled enough to do that.

Dunno. Pinch a sodomite? Wouldn't surprise. He is fond of those tassled loafers. Wonder how much they weigh? Rumor has it that he "downsized" Abe Rosenthal for rejecting the use of the word "gay" to describe homos. Certainly the NYT is a knee-jerk standard bearer for the homosexual lobby.

Thanks for the heads up!

Yeah, heard about it. Whatever the reason, I'll accept Bonaparte's take on it. Best one I've heard.
BTW, since hip-hop interests are involved in a lawsuit against Gottlieb, one wonders whether Holloway's misreporting was sloppy news-gathering, or an effort to doubleteam the case for the hip-hoppers.

Reprinted form the August 14
New York Post.
Radio announcer Gregg Whiteside, the voice of The New York Times -owned classical station WQXR, was fired this week in another political-correctness flap at the Gray Lady.
The station canned Whiteside whose voice was synonymous with classical music in New York for 25 years without notice or severance.
The station said the firing was "because of inappropriate comments which he admitted making."
Neither Whiteside nor the station would say exactly what those comments were.
[MusicalAmerica.com, citing station insiders, reports that the comments were "construed" as anti-Semitic by a passerby.]
"They've destroyed an innocent man," an emotional Whiteside told The Post yesterday. "I gave my life to that place. This wasn't a job for me it was a way of life."
Whiteside says the trouble started two weeks ago when he made an off-the-air remark to 'QXR colleague Sam Hall that was overheard by someone who passed by the studio.
The station is located in the Times building on West 43rd Street near the paper's newsroom.
"I believed I was having a private and confidential conversation with Sam Hall, who's even more like my brother than my own brother ... and that conversation might have leaked out into the newsroom," Whiteside says.
"I was speaking privately to a dear friend and it was not something that was on the air," he says, adding that he wasn't given the chance to apologize and told to leave Tuesday.
"I am in a state of utter depression and I'm devastated by this," he says. "To be fired with no severance? Are you kidding me?"

Thanks for the ping. I'm amazed things are this bad.
Such racial gangsterism is a big reason why Mayor Marion Barry was able to destroy Washington, D.C. In Volunteer Slavery, Jill Nelson, who felt a similar protectiveness toward Barry, and corresponding hatred toward white journalists who lacked such feelings, brags of her success in manipulating an unflattering story on the mayor.
A black woman had charged Barry with having raped her. Nelson got the word rape dropped from the story, in favor of forced, so that readers ultimately would not know what the woman said Barry had done to her. Woman Says Barry Forced Her Into Sex; Mayor Calls Testimony Not Believable. Nelson later exulted, Now that's spin control.

This is a very good read. Newspapers are dying a slow death. Propaganda machines like the Times are dying more quickly. Justice is perverse, the liberals cling to defending a public education system which does not prepare its students to read much of anything whether it be news or propaganda, and it is the failure of that they defend that will be their undoing.
To: mrustow
Excellent sleuthing! Sounds like the Times, or someone at the Times, was looking for an excuse to can him and they finally found one.
On a ship, in a prison, at the NYT -- you dummy up. Whiteside just learned that.
