Here's the latest blogging thread from Operation Expanding Freepdom. Featured in this thread are bloggers
John Hawkins and
Hugh Hewitt. There's also great information on joining forces with a startup network of
Bloggers for Bush!

Will somebody do me a favor and define the word BLOG? I had never heard the word until a couple of weeks ago and since then I see it everywhere, but no one has yet given a definition for it. What the heck does it mean?

A blog started out as a personal "log". They were supposed to be a daily personal log that people created for themselves on the net. They've evolved into blogs for everything under the sun. Some people have travel blogs where they put a diary of their vacations with pictures.
Blogspots are where people go to get a blog of their own. There are lots of Bush blogs to help him get re-elected. I think there are some soldier blogs where they're writing from Iraq. They can be bits of news, personal opinion or diaries. This is what I think a blog is. I hope I'm close. lol

Bump!
there is a new Blogs For Bush site in the works. Hopefully this one will be the definitive source of links to Pro-Bush blogs as well a group blog on the campaign. the website is
www.blogsforbush.com, and I am in discussions with people working to get this site built. If you're interested in helping, e-mail me at the address listed on that page.

Excellent! It will be included in the next thread. You'll have to advise on how good a platform TypePad is for people to start their own blogs.

It first I tried Tranquil, but even as much experience I have in web design and HTML, it was over my head. Beginners should steer clear. As for Typepad, it is intuitive and well designed. It is by the folks who invented Movable Type and only a couple of weeks old, so, AFAIK, it is state of the art. Trackback, permalink, categories, photo albums, etc. I love it. However neither of these services is free. Blogspot is free and not bad.
