So Rosa Parks should just shut up and sit in the back of a bus, since that's not a Right either?
If you have a problem, privacy-wise, getting on a plane, then maybe you should find alternate modes of transportation.
Personally, I don't have a problem providing them with ID. I do have a problem with federal employees searching me without a warrant, banning me from flying armed, and general harassment.
As such, I am refusing to fly until they change all of these 'policies'. They need me a lot more than I need them. I'll simply drive to my destination.
I highly doubt some federal employee is going to single you out; if you happen to be paranoid about disclosing who you are, that's your own personal issue. The rest of the world doesn't obsess over such banal occurrences.

Its totally ludicrous to have civilians on planes with guns. Does the phrase EXPLOSIVE DECOMPRESSION have any meaning for you? You have the right to carry arms on the ground, sure. But in a pressure vessel (which is basically what a plane's fuselage is at 30000 feet) you don't have the right to carry a gun. Go endanger yourself on your own time, NOT MINE. If you so desperately need to transport a weapon, check it through the cargo area where it can be rendered inert for the duration of the trip (and you can get it back after the flight's completion).
