Are TV viewers ready for a powerful feature film that dramatizes the tragedy of abortion from a pro-life perspective?
We'll find out this week when the indie feature "One Day in May" makes its nationwide FamilyNet debut.
Set in the waiting room of an abortion clinic, "One Day in May" is the story of a college senior who must overcome shame and betrayal to fight for the life of his girlfriend's unborn baby. Winner of the award for ''Most Creative Story Line'' at the 3rd annual WYSIWYG Film Festival, this unique and compelling drama co-stars Maria Bellantoni (ER, Law & Order), John-Paul Lavoisier (One Life to Live) and Chrisie Penna.
The movie will appear on FamilyNet's "Family Theater" on the following dates and times: Aug. 18 at 7 p.m.; Aug. 19, 12 a.m.; Aug. 23, 9 p.m.; Aug. 24, 3 a.m. (ALL TIMES EASTERN.)
