CNN was the only cable channel carrying the President's speech. I wonder if that's usual?

I think I'm surprised he didn't mention the black-out.

But why bother....President Bush can tout his environmental programs all he likes, the far left green fringed democrats will continue to attack him for raping the earth to benefit his rich oil friends. That's just the way it is, but the other day, a ray of hope. Larry Sabato on FOXNews predicted the environmentalists will have a hard time campaigning against Bush's energy plan after the black out. Sabato said the Alaska pipeline still might not pass, but he thought Bush would have the upper hand against Senate Democrats on the rest of his package.
