KAMPALA (Reuters) - Former Ugandan dictator Idi Amin was buried on Saturday in the Saudi Arabian city of Jeddah, where he had earlier died in hospital after being critically ill for weeks. "He is buried. The family decided and we have buried him in Jeddah," Ali Amin told Reuters by telephone from his home in Jinja, 50 miles east of the Ugandan capital Kampala.
An official at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Jeddah where Amin died told Reuters his body had been taken out for burial in the Red Sea city.
One of Africa's bloodiest despots, Amin had lived in exile, chiefly in Saudi Arabia, since being ousted in 1979. He was in his late 70s.
Exiles accused the man who had once been a boxing champion of keeping severed heads in the fridge, feeding corpses to crocodiles and having one of his wives dismembered. Some said he practiced cannibalism.
Amin, who expressed admiration for Adolf Hitler, was denounced inside and outside Africa for killing tens of thousands of people -- some estimates say more than 100,000 -- while ruling from 1971-79. He also expelled thousands of Asians from the former British colony.

I hope they put a stake through his heart while they were at it.
He was a freaking CANNIBAL!

I wonder if any of the other "peaceful Muslims" like Idi Amin decided to cook part of that rotten cannibal up and eat before they buried his remains.
I think you can learn a lot about the Saud family from the criminals they have protected over the years. Amin is just one of many.

Like Adolph Eichmann, he should have been hanged, cremated and had his ashes scattered over a large body of water, precise location unannounced, so some future Hitlerite would not be able to make a shrine of it.

He's really, really dead!

"Former Ugandan dictator Idi Amin was buried on Saturday in the Saudi Arabian city of Jeddah, where he had

I hope the word "earlier" is merely redundant, and not a newsworthy part of the story.

A lot of starving folks back home could've been fed with that carcass.
