GOP's King: Hillary's Attack on Bush Could Have Caused Riots

Congressman Peter King, R-NY, fired back at Sen. Hillary Clinton today, saying that her repeated attacks on President Bush as New York City slipped into darkness during last night's blackout could have provoked civil unrest.
Rep. King called Sen. Clinton's attempts to blame Bush for the blackout during several appearances on radio and TV "absolutely disgraceful."
He then noted, "There could have been some incident last night, and then you attach that to what she's saying and you get out of control and, before you know it, you have cops fighting for their lives in this city."
Within two hours of the power outage, Sen. Clinton was publicly criticizing Bush for the power failure, telling reporters, "I don't think the federal administration under this president is really focused on making sure we don't have these problems in the future."
King noted that her comments during the early evening hours came at a very precipitous moment for the city.
"We didn't know what was going to happen," he told Hannity. "And all you need is someone who's supposedly a national leader, trying to sow the seeds of division - and you have the police out there trying to keep order in the streets - and you have an elected official basically trying to divide the country, I mean, it's irresponsible to do that.
The Long Island Republican accused the former first lady of "undermining the efforts of what people like [Police Commissioner] Ray Kelly and [Mayor] Mike Bloomberg were trying to do, and Gov. Pataki - and that was to keep everyone speaking as one."
"Even if she had been right," King continued, "that is not the time to send a divisive message. . . . It was terrible."

And, Hillary takes off for Martha's Vineyard to waddle her fat butt on the beach.

I'm stunned this complete leftist RINO had anything bad to say about his ideological soul mate, Hillary!

The most dangerous place to be is between Hillary Clinton and an exploitable opportunity, especially if there is human suffering involved.

He has a point actually. It must have looked like a cool time to Bush-Bash to her, but it could have been destructive in those circumstances.
Further, the truth is the energy bill is held hostage in the Senate right now by the Dems. I watched Pete Domenici (sp?) begging them to let the electricity part of it pass a week or so ago on CSPAN. Hilly-Hypocrite.

Meanwhile, Bill Richardson was on TV last night saying that while he was Energy Secretary he was constantly screaming how bad these grids were and that this was going to happen. How come your husband didn't listen, Mrs. Clinton?

And a very, very fat butt it is... Thunder thighs, ankles the size of coffee cans, and the saggy bags under the eyes, makes her look like she's gone 15 rounds each with Ali, Frasier, Foreman, and Tyson... One gawd awful ugly woman, in every way imaginable...

Shouldn't she be heading for Tokyo? I mean that's where Godzilla usually shows up...

Yet, the ugliest part about her is on the inside. She is a truly worthless person. I'll bet flowers wilt when she walks by.

That's rich. Counter-attack the Queen of Irrationality with dire predictions. There's a lot more where that came from, and none of it can be disproved: unprovability is the nature of predictions of possibilities. Can't miss.

Never liked King much, but he said a good thing here. Actually, no, he didn't. The great thing about this whole blackout is that there was no civil unrest to speak of. It speaks very well of the people of NY.
All King did was to pull a NewsMax by blaming Hillary for something that didn't happen, and then weeping for the cops who could have been killed in the thing that didn't happen, in a ploy for cheap political points.
It's pretty sickening, actually.
(Not that Hillary's any different, of course.)

Okay okay you may be right (better correct) in your descriptions but this has got to be tethered.
The DEMoRATS are the ones who name call and say Bush is a Moron. WE ARE BETTER THAN THEY. Refrain from saying what you think of "THEM" talk policy talk issues they lose on both. But if we keep "picking" on them no matter how we seeth in anger over their behavior, we are back to mean and heartless Conservatives.
I know it may be hard but so is life. We must stick to issues let them call names and let us remain civil.
:o)
Be kind to your enemies, it confuses them all to hell.
