Terri (Schiavo) Hospitalized
The Terri Schindler-Schiavo Foundation

Terri was admitted to Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, Florida on Wednesday, August 13th. Hospice did not notify Terri's family of this and they did not find out until almost 24 hours later of their daughter's whereabouts. Michael Schiavo has given instructions not to discuss Terri's condition with her family. We will update this as soon as we know more.
Glenn Beck brought this up during his radio broadcast this morning.

In any case.. in my opinion they would merely be removing the artificial means by which her life is being unnaturally prolonged. So I hardly see it as killing, murder or whateverSo in your opinion anyone who needs feeding tubes to eat should be executed. Who gave you this insight?
To: ClaudeCriquelion
Thanks Claude. I don't envy you now, because the holier-than-thou crowd here who like to stick their noses in everyody else's business will call you a murder lover, and worse. You and I both know that there are things worse than death.

I'm just obviously not a happy camper about Christians blindly supporting her parents lies. Wrong again. it is the husband who is lying. There is no document indicating her wishes only his words. I met him and I can assure you his only motivation is money.
To: ClaudeCriquelion
Can you imagine having your apparently healthy wife drop dead on you, only to be revived into a vegetative state. Then, when you attempt to carry out her wishes and end the life support, her parents, funded by religious groups, post deceptive video cips and suggest that you murdered her and want her to die for the money? Can you imagine giving birth to your daughter and have her become ill and have her huband want to kill her? The only people in this story that love Terri are her parents. The insurance money was meant to help Terri not support the husband.
To: Hildy
Ok just to be sure your wishes are carried out put it writing and get it Notartized so there will be no legal hassles.

You bet I will. However, this girl was 26 years old. Do you really think that it was the main thing on her mind to do. The whole thing is tragic.

I'm surprised at these responses, that no one has discussed the negatives of taking away (actively killing) patients feeding tubes.
Wish I had the proof here, but have heard from many sources that it can take up to 2 weeks to die, and it is extremely painful. The thirst factor is agonizing.
So much for humanitarian reasons.
Would you take away a babies bottle if someone deemed him to be in a state that other evidence could be improved upon?
Why would not the parents have every right to see their daughter? I cannot understand the huby sympathizers on this oint, you know, the one who has a shack job?
How long has he has this affair in their home?
You defend him, assuming the parents edited a video, but as said before ANY sane person could see the response, even if it were a tny second, what difference would editing make?
It "saddens" me that people can make life and death decisions depending on their philosophy, having nothing to do with "religion", as you accuse posters of.

What's your definition of life? Mine isn't being hooked up artificially to anything. So in your opinion people like Chtistopher Reeve should be killed also. Since when did you become God? The money was there to support her for life, if her husband loved her he would have given her the best medical care money could buy. He has done just the opposite.

Food isn't artificial, if you provided food with your hand and a tube to an ill loved one (or the person you said vows with), what would be the difference?
You provide food to a baby thru a bottle or spoon, is that extending life artificially?
Would you withhold water to the same ill loved one or vow-receiver? What's the difference in one receiving food or water thru a tube or a glass, other than they cannot swallow from a glass?
Life will end if it is meant to, regardless of food/water.
But in stopping said food or water, ending it unnaturally.
Why can't her "husband", sooner than 13 years, find a way to signal her wishes? Other than his word.
Another poster thinks becaue of the time frame, (13) years, gives the hubby license to have someone take her place,
At which time would it meet approval? One week? One year? 5 years? When did he start having a realtionship?
how long would you want your spouse to wait to see if you improve, or how long would you wait for him/her to improve?
Partly why he gets criticized by the majority is his own fault, if he wanted, he could explain what methods he has used for her therapy, or why he won't try anything else, or how much was attempted? Or even answer why he won't let her parents see her?
