Subscript only at Fox.
I usually don't post such, but this one was to good to pass up, IMO. Plus Chretien thrice-changed explanation for the blackout.

Make no mistake, folks. Any @sshole who elects Hillary Clinton to the U.S. Senate won't think twice about breaking into your electronics store. Yeah, I was thinking maybe God's taking a little revenge for the stupidity of electing the Hildebeast.

candles, flashlights, batteries, generators, lanterns... c'mon use your imagination a little...

Seems like a 'normal' night in NYC - a few lootings, but no deaths as a result of the outage.
To: Shermy
Too bad, so sad.

Well, at least it wasn't the "Goofy, Slap-stick Looting" I've heard so much about... Or the Hughly Series Looting some engage in...Wow!
To: Alberta's Child
There's no reason to gloat about this. NBC is reporting on several looting incidents in New York City. You can bet that the riots will not be given coverage as the media will declare such coverage not helpfulor not constructive. In Cleveland, I heard the reports of an unusually large number of fires.

What happened to him??
HE SPOKE FRENCH!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
To: Shermy
Let me be politically incorrect
and mention that looting is a great French-Canadian tradition.
I happened to be in Montreal one year
when they had a police strike
and I was witness to a large well-organized crowd
methodically going up and down all the main streets
smashing store windows
and stealing everything inside.

Yeah, but...for all the BS Bloomberg spewed yesterday about people moving to NYC cuz it's so neighborly. I bout split a gut laughing! As if there's not theft in NYC w/or/w-o the lights on!??! He painted it like some country town where everyone leaves their doors open and you can borrow a cup of suger from a stranger while they're not home if you just leave a note.
Times Square etal may be all cleaned up, but The City is still A City.

Seems like a 'normal' night in NYC - a few lootings, but no deaths as a result of the outage.People are actually helping each other! In NYC!
Before 9/11, they would have slaughtered each other. I'm suprised, and impressed, how well the folks there are doing. They're handling it like champs.
Good job NYC.

FOX theory -- Enviromentalists. Discouraged matainance upgrades.
Conn. envirowacos sued to have some cable NOT turned on, and because of it; overloaded the power grid.

If you are even trying to drive on ice...you "ain't from here"! Thanks for making the distinction!!! I get tired of people laughing at south texas drivers in our "winter storms" which consist of 4 hours of frozen sleet, minor thaw, then refreeze, then TV pictures of eight flakes of snow! Then people laugh cuz we cant drive "in snow."
(Course most prolly can't drive on snow either, but we'll prolly never know!!!)

Doesn't matter. Environazis and Nimbycrats at DU will claim that the conservative power companies did this on purpose to make them look bad. "NATIONALIZE POWER!" will be their call. You watch!

(Course most prolly can't drive on snow either, but we'll prolly never know!!!)We're in upstate NY. Without an SUV, you're not going anywhere.
Even with SUV's, it's hard to get any traction on ice. Snow is easy.
