Not even a flicker here in the Boston area. Just got home about 20 minutes ago. Normal commute, light traffic. It was a warm day but we've had hotter. I sometimes work in NYC so I know what those poor folks are dealing with. One never realizes how many people are actually in NYC on a normal workday until the buildings and subways empty out. Those liveshots are amazing. It's like somebody stirred a giant anthill.

Ya know, if this is not terrorism related, it is a good test of emergency reactions. EXTREMELY costly, but a good test. Will out lots of vulnerabilities to be patched, and weaknesses to be replaced, such as apparently the entire mgmt. of Con Edison.
