What is Davis doing on CNN with Larry King?!
Davis is trying to take credit for the wonderful shape California power is in!
ABC is reporting that Canada has some miner some 4000 feet under ground. They are not in danger as of yet, but if they have to come out they will have to climb out some 4000 feet.

Man, I'm really bursting bubbles tonight. Ann Coulter said last week that she doesn't believe the Richard Gere rumors.

Looks pretty dark, and the images we were seeing a few minutes ago, it appears that much of NTC is still blacked out.....

MSNBC stilling carrying Bloomberg. Telling citizens to treat tomorrow as a "snow day"...get up early and check the radio.
Wonder if the "markets will open"?

I saw a post that half the country in the dark. Not making light of what has happened but half the country? I thought this was NYC and parts of NJ? Anyone have a map up?The half that 80% of us are not in. :)
Actually, it isn't near half, but it covers all of New York, about 1/2 the state, Cleveland, Toledo and Akron, Ohio, Detroit, Michigan, and Toronto and Ottowa. One radio station estimated about 50 million people without power. I beleive that.

"Oh great. Bill Richardson just called for investigations" Does this guy ever do any governing? Not recently. He fired all board, commission and college regents and filled them with his own clones. They have their marching orders which gives him time to pontificate on TV about things such as North Korea, the UN, Iraq, energy and anything else he might be remotely familar with. His mug is on national TV as much as McCain's is.

Well, gee Fox!!
One minute of the President, another minute or two of Bloomberg, and then another minute of the President, and now Mark Fuhrman commenting with crowd shots, and oh, sorry Mark, now the lady who is the Mayor of Cleveland is on!
I need dramamine!!

Boy, Bloomberg is pusing this nanny business. Does he not think NY adults are smart enough to know not to leave candles burning when they go to bed?
He just said "take off work" basically. I'm glad he's in charge of all those businesses and decides work policy.
Nanny-boy (still going with the lightning strike in Quebec theory) is no Rudy.

I hate to break this to you, but there are a good number of FNC reporters who are NOT conservative in the least. That's not news to me. Not only have I known that for quite a while, in the last few days I've chronicled here on FR the most egregious examples of reporting coming from that channel. Specifically Adam Housley and Claudia Cowan in California.
Never said my example from Fox was a shock because it was Fox---just that David Lee Miller sounded like a panic stricken dope.

Don't forget that the Grand Rapids metro area is the second largest population center in Michigan and it's still most definitely in the Blue.
