Nonsense. McClintock received more votes than any other statewide candidate in November. I personally don't have the time or the inclination to educate you on CA.

Also, we are talking about the present election-not the last one. Given the circumstances in this recall, McClintock can not win-especially with Simon running. Why is Simon running? The guy ran a terrible campaign and lost.... he should step down for the good of the party.

Sorry, I misunderstood the political situation in CA. I was under the impression that the CA reps in the US House (most) and Senate (all) are Democrats, I thought the California House and Senate are controlled by Democrats. I was unaware there are so many elected Republicans in California: my mistake.
