This does not seem to me to be a good thing. I am highly suspicious of Warren Buffet.

A lover of the communist graduated income tax. And other despicable things. A creep of the first degree in my mind.

Could be a Wall Street rumor(note the lack of a web link), and I agree with you, if true.

Warren Buffett is the greatest single enemy of the unborn in the world today. He embodies the culture of death.

With him on board nothing a Schwarzenegger administration will ever do will be socially conservative.

Warren Buffett will be the financial and economic adviser to his political campaign,

To his political campaign is one thing..... to his as governor if elected is entirely something different.... I'd suspect Buffett isn't going to get tied down in the day to day of CA politics to the point of being Arnolds advisor long term. To give him some advice during the campaign is all together different.

Warren Buffet is one of the most fiscal conservative businessmen on the PLANET! He may be socially liberal, but hes a fiscal conservative through and through... look at how he makes his money...

He buys undervalued companies, with equity in them, fixes them up and sells them... it is the most conservative and business model out there! And when the deals dry up, he stops buying!

You may not like his politics, but fiscally you can't get more conservative in practice than this guy. He never takes a major risk... just buys instant equity and improves the product for the end consumer.

It's all for show.

Since the Republicans don't have enough sense to all vote for Arnold, he needs the votes where he can get them.

This will also make it hard for critics to criticize Arnold's inexperience, if he surrounds himself with well known names -- then ultimately he can do what he wants, he doesn't have to follow the advise of his advisors.

This is just another smart chess move by Arnold, whom people still keep "misunderestimating".
