Ummmm....I'm not sure if it's the chips themselves that are "500 atoms" across, or if it's "the smallest feature" on the chips that's that small....

find a way to build computer chips half the size of those currently in use. The new chips would be about 500 atoms across If the chips which are currently in use are 1000 atoms across, I'm impressed. Don't these writers have editors?
