[history]
Gov. Gray Davis on Tuesday said he supports an effort by Assembly Democrats to raise personal income taxes and undo the vehicle license fee increase.
Lawmakers are crafting legislation that would wipe out the tripling of the car fee that is to go into effect Oct. 1. Instead, the bill would add two new top income tax brackets and bump up taxes on cigarettes.

Ha! If I owned a Waffle House I wouldn't even trust him to run the counter.

Could likely happen. Yup, one day soon, Gray will probably get the "It's time to go" call from Bill.. a few days later, he'll be lounging at a South Seas island, slamming down umbrella drinks.. and smoking cigars.
California will continue to be mired up to its ears in socialist-inflicted debt and the musings and offerings of the lamebrain media as they spin 24by7.

Exactly! Here's the Democrats spending levels:
"Freeze" means you only increase spending by 15% instead of the full 20%.
A "cut in spending" means you only increase it 10%.
A "slash in spending that starves women, children and seniors" means an increase of only 5% that year.
