Well, without looking much into the details of the Harpy weapons and how they were sold I will say this. Overall, weapons which are jointly made with the US, and others, usually get American authorization before they can be sold. Take for example the latest news whereas the US removed its objection to Israel selling India Phalcon planes.

If true, it is not good that Israel sold China such weapons. HOWEVER, one must note the many weapons, money, and/or other equipment the US sells or gives to countries which are enemies of Israel. These include Saudi Arabia and other countries supposedly onboard with us (in the Arab World) against terrorism. The latest example is the Palestinian Authority and money we are giving to it to bulster its "security services."

Overall, Israel is concerned about American safety and opinion on equipment sales. It was going to sell China a radar system, however, US objection prevented it from going forward.

Although, friendship works, or should work, both ways.

When was the last time China, a large state (not sharing a border with the USA, a large state) attacked the USA? When was the last time Egypt, a medium sized state (sharing a border with Israel, a small state)attacked or attempted to attack Israel? (1948, 1967, 1973).

Israel has apparently sold an armed drone to China acrording to this report. And has according to other reports sold advanced avionics to China.

Yet the USA has sold Apache attack helicopters, M1Al Abrams tanks, F-16C fighter jets, missile frigates, advanced Harpoon missiles that can be used to attack land targets in a "cruise missile" role, to Egypt.

Saudi Arabia funds Hamas and Islamic Jihad which murder Israelis citizens on a weekly basis. Yet the USA has sold to Saudi Arabia: F-15 fighter jets, plus a downgraded version of the F-15E fighter/strike jet, Apaches, M1A2 tanks and much more.

Works both ways, not so?
