Amen! Someone made a good point awhile back about Joe. The ban was for life--his life is over so let him in. I know it might seem hollow, him being dead and all. But if the evidence means anything he did nothing to throw that Series.

Did they ever allow him into the Hall of Fame? I'm glad Rose is getting another chance. He made a mistake... but he was one of the greatest ever...

Their crimes were far different, Joe's being the THROWING of a World Series for money,

But

I agree.

There's no indication I've ever read that Shoeless Joe ever threw other games prior to that particular series.

Posthumous entry for his excellent career up to that point. After all, his ban was only for "life," and his life has been over a long time.

Shoeless Joe Jackson should have been elegible for the HOF the day he died. Commissioner Landis banned him from baseball for the rest of HIS life, not eternity. His bannishment is over.
