Okay, I read the first paragraph.
I remember a few years ago, this writer had at least some credibility and wrote clearly, with reasoned restraint. His stuff was posted regularly here on FR. But now? Reading this guy makes me think of a grimacing two-year-old jutting out his lower lip and on the verge of tears because somebody took his bottle. Honestly.
Absolutely pathetic.

Cynicism is the sign of a mind that projects its own weakness on the reality it fails to comprehend.

It is indeed racist to claim that Arabs cannot achieve representative government. There are plenty of examples of movements/groups that fight racism in one situation while perpetrating it in another. Could it be that the author is guilty of seeing things too simplistically, in black and white, good vs. evil terms?

A few morsels of truthful observations amidst a sea of hyperbole.
Too broad a brush for my taste but I do find some of what Condi said to be PC pandering.
How odd to even find anything in Justin's posts I ever agree with....

Lying propaganda continues to gush from the Bush administration, like vomit from a drunk. The latest comes courtesy of Condoleezza Rice, the President's national security chief and a woman who, in any other circumstances, would have been out on her ear, Sounds like something the commies over at MoveOn.org would write

Poor justine, he even gets his very first sentence confused, somehow substituting the President's name for his own:
Lying propaganda continues to gush from the justine raimondo, like vomit from a drunk.

What? No vomit alert?

Sheesh, is this supposed to be a discussion of the views expressed in the posted article? So, Condi Rice attacks the Founders as "racists" -- and the "conservatives" of FR agree. We know that "everything's changed" since 9/11. But who would've expected this?
To: Burkeman1
Ms. Rice:
"Knowing what we know about the difficulties of our own history, let us always be humble in singing freedom's praises. But let our voice not waver in speaking out on the side of people seeking freedom. And let us never indulge the condescending voices who allege that some people are not interested in freedom or aren't ready for freedom's responsibilities. That view was wrong in 1963 in Birmingham and it is wrong in 2003 in Baghdad."Wow! That is quality oratory from a highly-respected, well-educated, professionally-accomplished lady who happens to be black, and the scum writing this hit piece cannot see that much less respect it. Instead, he has to spew his vomit in a vile and cowardly attempt to further the cause of America's enemies. Obviously, another candidate for the Mussolini Retirement Plan...

This might be a hissy fit because the president affirmed his belief in the sanctity of marriage. The gays are out to get anyone who is not with 'em.
