McClintock has less than five percent support in California with roughly two months to go before election day...he can't win. Simon has better numbers than McClintock...do does Bustamante.

What you can't handle is the truth, it's not about "watching left wing media propaganda", it's about acknowledging what every political commentator and strategist already knows...McClintock can't win this race.

McClintock's message will not resonate with California's independent voters at any level, they are independent because they feel that they do not fit the mold of any one political Party, what makes you think that these independent voters are in reality right-wing fiscal conservatives?

I would say that the only thing McClintock can do here is hand the elections to Bustamante, but he doesn't even have enough support to do that.

FYI McClintock received over 100K more votes in the last election than your boy Simon. Two months in an election is a lifetime. Clinton beat BushI in two months, Truman beat Dewey in a day. If you are basing your argument on "media experts", those are the same "experts" who predicted, incorrectly I might add, that Gore had beaten Bush. As soon as your terminator boy starts answering the substantive questions his poll numbers will fall dramatically and if he ever steps on the stage to debate McClintock, Mac will mop up the floor with him! Terminator boy has no platform and no solutions to the mess in Sacramento. Just another empty suit from Hollyweird! Poll numbers this early in the game mean squat...just ask Bush Sr.

In today's NBC poll, McClintock is tied with Arianna at a whopping 4 percent!

"FYI McClintock received over 100K more votes in the last election than your boy Simon."

Listen, if you can't debate like an adult, I'll take this up with someone else. I don't have a "boy" in this election, you do, I have an opinion that is backed by facts...McClintock does not have enough votes to win, nor does he have enough time to garner enough support to overtake the leading contenders.

One last thing...what you need to do is convince people who do not think that McClintock has a chance at winning this that he can in fact win, and get them to switch their vote. Thus far, the way you have responded to what have been some very civil posts by me, will not, I repeat, WILL NOT bring people over to your side.

You are actually hurting the very candidate that you want to help.

You have yet to come up with any reason to vote for anyone other than McClintock except that the "experts" on your television say he "can't win"...while I have pointed out several races that have proven you and your so called "experts" wrong."debate like an adult"... well when I get an adult to debate with I will. Keep it in FL and let us know when you guys figure out the punch cards. ROFLMAO

I haven't said a word about television, and I detailed WHY I didn't think people would vote for McClintock in my very first post.

You live in the most liberal State in the Union, and are campaigning for someone too far to the right from the mainstream of political ideology for that State.

I don't see what was so unclear about that.

The only think ridiculous is why I am wasting my time with someone who thinks polls two months before an election are the be all and end all of a candidacy. Lucky for us you don't live here. Have a good day!

McClintock has 5% support, the exact same numbers Ruffington has, do you think she has a chance?

"Lucky for us you don't live here."

If I lived there, I would be pushing for something that made sense, like getting McClintock the Lt. Governor's job under Arnold.

That has been my sense--that Arnold has been around enough to see plenty of crud and knows more than a little about how to deal with it.

Shoot--even IF HE HAD ONLY taken something serious from his fantasy roles, it would have been enough to start cleaning up Sacramento.

But I actually think the guy has some substance to him. How else could he have come so far? He's at least methodically diligent.

And that's better than being diligently methodically treasonous!

Sounds like a sensible plan, to me.

I just don't think any politician would have a ghost of a chance of cleaning house

AS MUCH AS Arnold has by virtue of his personality, his goals, his attitudes AND PERHAPS PARTICULARLY because of his personna and the support people will give him because of his personna. That's a LOT of effective influence currancy, IMHO.

Arnold favors BIGGER GOVERNMENT to take care of our children, so we can all get out and work to pay the higher taxes.

It is sure looking that way...

It seems his after-school program is the centerpiece of his political thinking. Not very encouraging. I guess school breakfasts and sex education have not been enough. Maybe next we will get a program to take care of our kids at night! Oh, I forgot, that was already tried with midnight basketball.

Well my goodness gracious, when will Orrin Hatch throw support to Arnold???????????????????? C'mon Orrin!

GO ARNOLD!!!!!!!!!!

I'm just looking for some hint that he might believe in economic growth, not big government. Please, Arnold, throw me a bone here!

Politically, Kemp has been pretty clueless all-around. I am just looking for some hint that Arnold understands that economic growth, not taxes, will save CA. Arnold, call Steve Forbes!
