I adopted Orion from a shelter in Canoga Park CA. She was the most beautiful, gentle spirit. I miss her. I am on my third Keeshond. They are wonderful, aren't they.

I know my Orion is in Heaven , and by my side when I need her. She was with me through my most difficult times. I can't not believe someone had thrown her on the side of the road, and she was hit by a car. No one wanted to adopt her because she limped. The shelter kept filling her papers out wrong, so they could keep her longer than they were supposed to. They and her for 1 year and were heart broken to let her go. But they did and I had her for 11 years.

My first keeshond was Keeja, second Orion, third Cassiopeia.

There is nothing that will ever take the place of my Orion. Give your girl a hug for me!

I would like to thank ALL of you for the kind, kind messages about my kitty.
I have read them all...some over and over...and It has been very helpful to have your support.

I wanted you all to know that I DID READ all of the comments, even though I did not respond right away. As dumb as it sounds, I would get all choked up anytime I even tried to think of what to write.

We are still missing that "dumb cat" tons and tons and just yesterday my 4 year old asked me when she was coming home. When I reminded him that she wasn't..that she was staying in heaven with God, he said, "Why? Couldn't God fix her?". So, we started that whole conversation again.

Anyway, I just wanted you to know that you are all appreciated..and the stories and poems are exactly what I needed (not to mention the PRayers)!

Thank you.

With Love,
M0sby
