If you will, please remember this tiny baby in your prayers. Hes the grandson of a very dear friend of mine. Logan was born on July 25. His due date was in October, making his mommy 26 weeks along, being born 3 months and 3 days early.
Logan was 1 lb 9.4 oz when he was born and is now weighing, as of this morning, 1 lb. 8.3 oz. The little guy is now 12-1/2 long.
Hes a real trooper and is fighting with all his little body can fight with. His Grandma said that hes starting to recognize his mommy when she comes in the room and hears her voice. She said he tries so hard to open his eyes, and starts kicking his feet.
I asked my friend if there were any specific prayers, other than the obvious and this is her reply A prayer of thanks for the miracle called "Logan.
On a personal note, Ive read the emails daily from my friend. Ive known her for years, Ive heard her talking about her family for years but Ive got to tell you that Im SO impressed with how her children have all banded together in support. What an incredibly wonderful and loving family.
Father God, we lift up Logans little body to you. We pray that you can strengthen him hourly, daily, weekly, until hes grown enough to go home with his precious family. We ask for guidance for the doctors and nurses who are caring for him. We ask for strength for his parents and extended family. Thank you so much for the gift of life. In Jesus Name, Amen
Fellow Freepers .I bring you Logan!!!

It'll be good to see you again!
Hey Logan you are looking as frisky as my two new pups.
When you are a little older have TC introduce you to GW and my families role model Dr. Alan Keyes.
You know sweetie it's going to be a blink of a eye and you will be busy playing baseball.
I hope the pics and update keep coming as it uplifts all of our spirits to see those eyes that are so bright.
Nana prayers continue...hope you are healing well.
There is one thing Texas has I've notice that we here in on the coast of Oregon in the PNW do not get much of and have not seen very much this year....THE SUN.
We could use a few warm sunny days can we you send some sunshine our way?
Logan as soon as I get the new 7wk old Lab into a routine or visa versa I will send you the new pics of CG Langley's "Hunter" KV wanted named after him on the AKC papers.
Oh, what a treat today! His special visitor's seem to have made Logan even happier than usual. Thanks COB. :)
It is soooo wonderful that g tubes are placed in a heartbeat now a days, good Lord it took such a fight back 20yrs ago to get them.
Great to have the Medical Society learning to keep up with all our little miracles.
You crack me up BG. Always a pleasure to run into you here at FR.
Yes the sparkle and it is contageuos look at Jim Robs eyes as he holds our Texas Termite.
Oh boy he must have saw the pics of Logan at Hooters!
Since Logan I was inspired to empty all the photo albums and mount them in our hallways.....locals here have really enjoyed.
What a wonderful meeting. Yes, we can be thankful to Jim Robb for many great things and the best one was allowing the thread for Logan. That was incredible. Looks like everyone had a good time and I love the one of Logan with his ball cap and the God Bless America caption. What a cutie he is. Thanks for the photos.
"when the wind no longer fills your sails, you get out the oars and row!"
Is this a TC original or did you read this someplace? I've never seen this quote before.
Thank you, Uncle TC. It was so great to see and hold little Logan. And thank you Logan's dad and mom and nana. Was so nice to meet you and enjoy a great meal in your beautiful yard. You're all in our thoughts and prayers.
Some people read bumper stickers and billboards.
I read church marquees.
It seems that just when I'm down about something, God provides one of these little snippets of wisdom on a church marquee.
I talked to Nana last night, and she expressed what I've known for a long time:
"That man has the kindest eyes I've ever seen!"
We all enjoyed your visit so very much.
You've got a lot of fans in Texas, Jim.
Come back soon!
Please don't.
Too late.
Now if I can figure out how to make this darn eyelash curler work without blinding myself!
