If you will, please remember this tiny baby in your prayers. Hes the grandson of a very dear friend of mine. Logan was born on July 25. His due date was in October, making his mommy 26 weeks along, being born 3 months and 3 days early.
Logan was 1 lb 9.4 oz when he was born and is now weighing, as of this morning, 1 lb. 8.3 oz. The little guy is now 12-1/2 long.
Hes a real trooper and is fighting with all his little body can fight with. His Grandma said that hes starting to recognize his mommy when she comes in the room and hears her voice. She said he tries so hard to open his eyes, and starts kicking his feet.
I asked my friend if there were any specific prayers, other than the obvious and this is her reply A prayer of thanks for the miracle called "Logan.
On a personal note, Ive read the emails daily from my friend. Ive known her for years, Ive heard her talking about her family for years but Ive got to tell you that Im SO impressed with how her children have all banded together in support. What an incredibly wonderful and loving family.
Father God, we lift up Logans little body to you. We pray that you can strengthen him hourly, daily, weekly, until hes grown enough to go home with his precious family. We ask for guidance for the doctors and nurses who are caring for him. We ask for strength for his parents and extended family. Thank you so much for the gift of life. In Jesus Name, Amen

Prayed.
I've been praying for Nana and Logan, and, of course, Beth.
How is everyone doing?
My Angel got released from the hospital on Thursday. He's normal in every way, except he won't swallow, so he's fed exclusively by G-tube.
His mom called me 4 times already with questions. I am happy he's home, but he will be so missed. His beautiful smile, his cooing, and the way he puts his chubby hands on my arms when I hold him.
I took care of that baby for over 4 months and now have to face the fact that he's really not mine (sigh).
Our first stop in the Alamo City today was, of course, the Alamo, the symbol in Texas of our forefathers battle against tyranny.
Then Sheila Robinson was presented with her very own symbol of Texas:
AND JIM ROBINSON AND FAMILY MEET THE TEXAS TERMITE AND FAMILY!
Then Nana, Beth and Bud put out a spread of goodies, and we all pigged out!
Then it was playtime with Logan!
Nana, Beth, Bud, Logan and I would like to thank Jim, Sheila and Chris Robinson for coming by to see the Texas Termite.
Without the forum of FreeRepublic we would not have had the chance to ask for and receive the thousands of prayers for Logan, and without those prayers we feel like he would not have survived.
I would like to thank Nana, Beth and Bud for their hospitality.
This was a day when good people met good people!
James, I would like to thank you personally for coming to our great state of Texas and for coming by to see the miracle named Logan.
As always, I really enjoyed your company.
I'll see you at the tailgate party!
And isn't my friend awesome????? Nana...WAY TO GO!!!!!!!! I love you all!
THANK YOU JIM for Free Republic. THANK YOU LORD for such good friends!
I love JimRob's expression when he is holding Logan. According to Jewish tradition, we are all born with a spark of G-dliness in us, and I think Logan has an extra big spark. It seems to reverberate around and catch in the eyes of everyone who is near him.
He is so cute -- I wish I could squeeze him!!! You can see all his energy at the keyboard and everywhere.
By the way, I didn't write but I was praying hard for him to get over his stomach virus quickly. It looks like he did. Those things make babies so unbelievably sick. I am glad it passed and he is feeling better now.
I think that is Nana in arms with Beth? She looks good - glad she was able to make the party. Will still be praying for her to return to full strength and health. Thanks, TC, for the pictures that made my evening!!! What a great time you all must have had.
Everyone's healthy!!! Wonderful pics!!!
WOW!!!!
What a great honor you had Logan!
Getting to meet Jim Robinson and his family!
WOO HOO!
