If you will, please remember this tiny baby in your prayers. Hes the grandson of a very dear friend of mine. Logan was born on July 25. His due date was in October, making his mommy 26 weeks along, being born 3 months and 3 days early.
Logan was 1 lb 9.4 oz when he was born and is now weighing, as of this morning, 1 lb. 8.3 oz. The little guy is now 12-1/2 long.
Hes a real trooper and is fighting with all his little body can fight with. His Grandma said that hes starting to recognize his mommy when she comes in the room and hears her voice. She said he tries so hard to open his eyes, and starts kicking his feet.
I asked my friend if there were any specific prayers, other than the obvious
and this is her reply
A prayer of thanks for the miracle called "Logan.
On a personal note, Ive read the emails daily from my friend. Ive known her for years, Ive heard her talking about her family for years
but Ive got to tell you that Im SO impressed with how her children have all banded together in support. What an incredibly wonderful and loving family.
Father God, we lift up Logans little body to you. We pray that you can strengthen him hourly, daily, weekly, until hes grown enough to go home with his precious family. We ask for guidance for the doctors and nurses who are caring for him. We ask for strength for his parents and extended family. Thank you so much for the gift of life. In Jesus Name, Amen

THANK YOU, TC/C! What great shots today. Lil Termite, you are getting sooo big and we're all so proud you're here!
And friends, I have to share what happened to me this morning - speaking of answered prayers. About two years ago, our pastor's grandson was stricken with neuroblastoma which is a nasty childhood cancer. Needless to say, little Caleb was Number One on my prayer list for at least a year!
So this morning in church, we sat behind this adorable tow-headed 4 yr old, who was wriggling in his seat and who gratefully accepted my offering of Mento Mints to help him suffer through a boring church service (for him). He's now cancer free and beautiful! A typical little boy, wearing his baseball cap and his cowboy boots.
Thank you Lord, for giving us these precious children. Thank You for healing Caleb and thank You for giving the FreeRepublic family little Logan! We all are truly blessed!

I have popped in whenever I've seen the thread! I always love seeing the power of prayer that has acted in so many cases including Logan's since the thread started.
You simply must give Logan a "One... two... three... SQUEEZE" from me. Oliver loves that when he gets that countdown to a little cuddly squeeze. How could Logan not?
