My prayers follow him and all of you caring for him -- I know you will need your strength. May G-d heal all his special needs. What a darling little boy. How I would love to hold him. Sending a cyber caress to the Termite.
Yeah, everytime I think he can't get any more beautiful, he fools me!
Hello to Uncle TC and Uncle Tonk :-)
Here's the links to Logan's Webpages, but I've messed the thumbnail page up close to the bottom.
I'll fix it tomorrow. I'm running on reserve tonight.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
Perfect!
Heavenly Father, thank You for this life unfolding ... grant this little one and his family the beauty and joy of a home under the Lordship of Christ. Give wisdom and guidance as Logan steps into the world ... help us to make it a thing of beauty for him, and a joy forever ~ in the name of Jesus, I pray, Amen ...
There are few words for me to use to describe how beautiful I think you are Logan.
I have been saving some special advice, that I wanted to give your parents, for just the right moment. I think that time is finally here.
First of all my best defense for a fussy baby is a bath. I like lots of bubbles, for this you will need to stir your hands in the bath water vigioursly or get a shower head and hold it close to the water level making a huge stiff pile of bubbles to be blown around an dove into. Hide lots of little floating toys in the bubbles.
Secondly Blueberry pancakes are so good with banannas. Use a potato smasher to smash the bannanas and then add dry ingredients only. Use a fork to smoosh bannanas and dry stuff together, then add wet ingredients. Now every bite has a bit of bannana in it! I reccomend a good old fashioned cast iron skillet and butter to cook pancakes in.
Thirdly spend every moment you can snuggling in bed and playing in the blankets, these are the most precious moments I have ever had, my advice is never pass up the oppurtunity to do this. Most importantly , invest in good rain boots with handles at the top, Carters and Land's End have great boots for kids. Always jump in the puddles, but with your boots on only!
Always have a magnifying glass, a bottle of water ,and a package of peanut butter crackers in your purse. Always have a bowl of apples on your counter and always have chocolate chip cokie mix in your pantry. Get sheer white drape pannels for the spring , so when you open your window they billow in the breeze. Kids love to watch them gently move around.
Go to the movies once in your PJ's , let your child plant licorice, say yes whenever you can and no when you have to. It is okay to have pasta for breakfast. This is my recipe for a happy childhood.
I hope Logan and crew are going to have a great big welcome home party for themselves! God bless you Nana, Beth, Bud and Logan. Godspeed to you.
Best of Luck to you Beth and Bud, you are already amazing parents!
On the wings of a prayer I hope you are all carried home!

I haven't been around much, but Logan is always in my prayers. When are they planning to send him home?
As scary as it seems to bring home a baby who is so fragile...I'd imagine you get used to it, kinda. Within a week I'll bet alarms will be going off and you'll be very matter of fact while visitors are freaking out!
God bless you all. He'll help you remember what to do.
