If you will, please remember this tiny baby in your prayers. Hes the grandson of a very dear friend of mine. Logan was born on July 25. His due date was in October, making his mommy 26 weeks along, being born 3 months and 3 days early.
Logan was 1 lb 9.4 oz when he was born and is now weighing, as of this morning, 1 lb. 8.3 oz. The little guy is now 12-1/2 long.
Hes a real trooper and is fighting with all his little body can fight with. His Grandma said that hes starting to recognize his mommy when she comes in the room and hears her voice. She said he tries so hard to open his eyes, and starts kicking his feet.
I asked my friend if there were any specific prayers, other than the obvious
and this is her reply
A prayer of thanks for the miracle called "Logan.
On a personal note, Ive read the emails daily from my friend. Ive known her for years, Ive heard her talking about her family for years
but Ive got to tell you that Im SO impressed with how her children have all banded together in support. What an incredibly wonderful and loving family.
Father God, we lift up Logans little body to you. We pray that you can strengthen him hourly, daily, weekly, until hes grown enough to go home with his precious family. We ask for guidance for the doctors and nurses who are caring for him. We ask for strength for his parents and extended family. Thank you so much for the gift of life. In Jesus Name, Amen

They seem to be fairly rich in the West. When I was in MO last Summer, I saw lots of them. We have them here in NY as well. Have to be near water, or a swamp!
I would think you would have them in OR, it rains all the time there and lots of mosquitoes. They eat them like crazy.
Dragonflies are good insects.

I don't fish or do water sports and it doesn't rain all of the time in Oregon. :)
The next time we stop at Triangle Lake on one of our breakfast in Elkton, Caffe Mochas in Florence and home via Triangle Lake, trips ~ I'll look for some. :):)

Logan's a tough little fella.... It's said that what doesn't kill us makes us stronger.
Logan is a very, very, very, strong little man.

Bless, Bless and Bless Logan's little heart; and a prayer that this rash is 'begone' as fast as possible.
It looks overwhelming; but Logan's eyes do tell us another story. What light(!) and what an angelic lookingwarrior Logan is ;^)
He knows a fight all too well. . .and I pray that he is improving. . .as we (all) 'speak'.

May the voices of the heavens sing softly and gently into the tiny ears of this resting child and into the troubled hearts of his family all of our Lord's beautiful songs and, in hearing these songs, may they know that God is with them and loves them Hi Zacs Mom.
I don't know you, but I wanted to say that's one of the most beautifully worded prayers I have ever read. Also, I'm glad you made it through your ordeal to come back here and write that, and very thankful for your son making my life and that of my son's safer.
May God Bless you both.

Thanks for that....I was feeling a little foolish... Oh piffle. I knew lots of folks had made that mistake, just didn't want it propagated to confuse things.
I've never met TT in person. I have met TC, and I'm sure he's right proud that folks think he's TT's abuelo / opa , to use two terms for that title commonly seen/heard in Texas.

Please forgive me if you've been pinged twice to this...
OK. I got an email from Nana. Keep the prayers coming, and THANK you for the prayers!!!!

Well Logan's face and neck are better for sure. His body is about the same, and I think his arms and legs are worse. Maybe this stuff is working it's way down and out???? He seemed to itch a lot today. We found out one thing, when we turned on the A/C to keep him cool, he was far more comfortable.
He didn't seem to have a fever while I was there today. The areas where the rash is the worse, it's hot to touch, but the rest of his body was ok.
He hasn't shown any signs of breathing problems.......thank God. I know these things are in his ears, because he covers them with his little hands and says he wants the noise to stop.
When you get a chance, please tell everyone thank you for the prayers and for their continued love and concern for Logan, and for us. I believe the prayers are working and so does his mom. I'll try and take a couple of pics of him tomorrow and I'll send you another update when I get in then.

Prayers for our little guy!!! After this is cleared up, he needs one of those medic alert bracelets so this never happens again.
