My gaydar says that Pastor Bill is, well, gay. So, of course, he believes that a gay Archbishop is a "good thing."
I'm getting so sick of this gay stuff. Biblically and biologically, gay sexual relations are unatural--whether or not the two gay people are "married" or unmarried. Why can't gay people just start a "church" specifically geared towards their own unhealthy and yucky (IMHO) sexual practices instead of co-opting established religious organizations that for years have warned members of the physical and spiritual dangers of unsanctioned sex? Oh, yeah, like the Islamofascists, the radical gays want to shove their doctrine down our throats. (Yeech. No pun intended, it was the only way to describe the all-gay-all- the-time stuff I see and hear in the media/culture these days.)
I used to believe that so long as a gay person didn't make a big deal of his or her homosexual preferences, I'd leave well enough alone. Love the sinner, hate the sin. Is it just me or is it getting to the point where I want to scream out "just shut up, do your perversions in private if it makes you happy, but don't come crying to me if you pick up some truly nasty disease because of your perversions and, above all, let me be free to not condone your sexual lifestyle or teach my children that having homosexual sex is "healthy" and "natural" because of my own religious and personal beliefs.
Yeah, I know some gay people with whom I volunteer with and/or provide services to me. So long as they don't make their "gayness" an issue...or preach to me or my children that "gayness" is natural, wonderful, "a gift from God," and spiritually and physically healthier than being celibate or plain, old fashioned heterosexuality, I won't preach back at them.

Hooray for you, demnomo. My sentiments exactly. I've had it with all the discussions regarding the right and wrong of gay.
