Major FYI and warning.

Thanks so much for the warning. How scary!

I have had a virus before, but it didn't do too much damage. Still, I can imagine what a time you are having recovering everything. Hope you are back up and running soon.

Thanks Mama_Bear. Yes, I'm reinstalling everything still. I have thankfully learned my lesson a while ago...and I have an external zip drive that holds all my pertinent info.

I'm currently 'still' reinstalling now.

I do know for a FACT that it was that specific newssite I referenced from the chain of events that happened. AND from my email client. I killed all the email ques offline. So NO ONE in my address book got that worm.

Anyway, the good news is, it seems the Admin Mods took my warning seriously. I sent them a freep mail from kinkos. And in between reinstalls, I've searched extensive for that FR post from Friday night. I CAN'T find it. I'm assuming that means it was taken down. And I want to hug whoever did. I can't imagine how many freepers would have been wiped out from that site!

I hope my assumption is correct. Cause I know things don't always come up readily in a search.
