I'm not sure a virus program would have caught this. This is a script within that theinquiror (sp?) website. So launching the email program from that server wasn't like I downloaded it.

If it isn't down...I want to at least post a warning about that site.

I don't think Jim or the Admin Mods should allow sites like that (meaning with worm scripts) to be posted.

I never go to those "Send to a friend" links, but it's only because it's easier and faster for me to copy and paste and then enter the email addy's from my email software ...

I see the problem now, I have Guard Dog installed but never open an e-mail when I don't know who it's from...e-mail is a vulnerable area.

You are right Meekie Mouse. I just got 'so conditioned' to the sites I know I can do that with. They don't even launch my mail client...they have form submits. That just made me careless.

Hi, Meekie - will have to pass on the links today - my connection is operating at a snail's pace, and it's terribly annoying to sit and watch the net icon keep turning and turning and turning and turning before the page FINALLY opens. The mailroom here is the absolute worst. When it's slow anywhere else, the mailroom NEVER opens the first time I click on it - NEVER!

Thanks for the info about housecall. I never heard of that. I really need to get better informed about these kinds of technical things. There are computer people to fix my computer problems at work. But for the computer at home, I'm on my own.

Did you get picked? I've only been called twice, and BOTH times I was chosen to sit on the jury. Lucky me. :)

The first one lasted all week; the second one was just one day, but several 'trials' - like traffic violations.

Nope. I had a pretty high number for the pool. Even missed out on the afternoon call.

Like clockwork, I get summoned every 18 months. Only served on 1. Some guy defended himself in a municipal action and he had an idiot for a client. Took us longer to select a foreman than it did to reach a verdict. :)
