August 11, 2003 -- A Saudi man is masterminding a deadly alliance between al Qaeda terror thugs and Saddam Hussein's henchmen that's behind the increasingly sophisticated attacks on U.S. troops in Iraq, a new report claims. The alliance, known as Jaish Mohammed, has smuggled millions of dollars as well as weapons and hundreds of Arab fighters into Iraq across the desert from Saudi Arabia over the past four months, according to The Sunday Times of London.

This may be bad for our troops, but if true it means that the war on terror has taken a turn away from attacking innocents on our own soil and toward attacking our military in their midst. Victory over terror is therefore closer to reality.

Bush has these guys on the defensive now.
