The stunning threat from Mulholland, who rose to fame in 1992 after exposing how Republican Senate candidate Bruce Herschensohn visted a strip joint in Hollywood "Sounds pretty quaint these days."
It's also extremely misleading. Herschensohn was and is single. The attack ads implied he was an adulterer. While quite a number of people would not consider his behavior proper especially for a senate candidate, the ads intended to discourage conservatives from even coming to the polls to vote.

Yes. And a lot of single men do go to a strip club to relax and have a few drinks. OK so they look at half naked women but these aren't married guys. Of course all this was before the Democrats discovered "a private life" exception just for Bill Clinton.
